HRMI’s study on "Human Rights Implementation in Lithuania" is nearing completion. The report surveys the current status of human rights implementation in Lithuania, especially regarding sensitive and under-examined problems. The report emphasizes the need for urgent decisions in problem areas, thus initiating open and constructive discussions with the aim to influence government institutions and society in general.
The Drug Addiction, HIV/AIDS, and Society: Partnership or Social Split " seminar took place on 12 May 2004 at the Human Rights Monitoring Institute a day before HRMI's presentation to parliament on the same subject.
