International NGO network UNITED calls for international support to make an end to the silent acceptance of the annual neo-nazi demonstration in the state of Saxony, Germany, and demonstrate that Europe does not tolerate any forms of hate and intolerance.
On 14 February 2009, right-wing extremists from all over Europe gather in Dresden for their annual 'March of mourning and commemoration'. Last year a frightening crowd of more than 6000 neo-nazis from Germany and foreign allied brotherhoods were mobilised for the largest gathering of the European right-wing extremist movement. UNITED and the local platform Geh Denken calls for your help to stop the largest meeting of the European right-wing extremist movement. See more here.
UNITED is the largest pan-European anti-racism network of more than 560 organisations from 46 countries. Every year UNITED organises various campaigns against all forms of intolerance, such as racism, fascism, nationalism, and discrimination. One of the most known is European Action Week Against Racism around 21st March that HRMI joins since 2006. Action Week against Racism 2009 campaign will start on 14 March and will offer an intense programme of tolerance enhancing activities and events. See more in the Action Week against Racism 2009 section soon.
