Today, 29 July, at 11.05 am, during the live radio show FORUMAS on the Lithuanian Radio programme, Lithuanian experts of human rights will claim that private life is not sufficiently protected in Lithuania.
Who is to prevent inadmissible interference into our lives and protect the citizens from blackmail? What is to be done when the Prosecutor General ignores the thefts of state secrets and unacceptable disclosure of pre-trial investigation evidence?
Julius Sabatauskas (LSDP), the Chairman of the Seimas Committee on Legal Affairs, Arvydas Pocius, Director of the State Security Department, Prof. Toma Birmontienė, Adviser of the Presidents of the Republic of Lithuania, Kęstutis Čilinskas, the Cahir of the Board of the Human Rights Monitoring Institute, and Daiva Paulikienė, an officer of the State Data Protection Inspectorate, will speak on the radio broadcast.
