The Actions of the Law Enforcement Officers Shock the HRMI

Kęstutis Čilinskas, the Chairman of the HRMI Board, is certain that during the investigation of alleged corruption in the Parliament, the law enforcement officers have gravely violated the human rights to a fair trial and to the respect for privacy.  
 
Mr Čilinskas states that if a case or cases concerning numerous human rights violations reached the European Court of Human Rights, Lithuania would not be able to produce arguments justifying the incompetence of law enforcement officers.
