Today Leonidas Donskis, MEP, Darius Kuolys, Director of the Civil Society Institute, and Henrikas Mickevičius, Executive Director of the HRMI, addressed Darius Valys, the Prosecutor General, again. They request removal of prosecutor Justas Laucius from investigation of Eglė Kusaitė case, and internal investigation into his  activities. 

Human rights defenders demand charges against prosecutor Laucius are brought in case any violations of human rights standards and/or professional ethics were found. The Prosecutor General is also asked to investigate the circumstances of the interrogation of Eglė Kusaitė by Russian Federal Security Service, including the alleged human rights violations of Eglė Kusaitė.
